Meet Archbishop D. E. Chase: A Visionary Leader

Archbishop D. E. Chase is the dynamic senior pastor of Metropolitan Cathedral in Louisville, Kentucky. Renowned for his impactful preaching and social activism, he champions causes like racial justice, environmental sustainability, and economic equity. Raised in New Jersey and deeply influenced by leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Chase’s journey spans various Christian traditions. He’s the Presiding Prelate of the African Episcopal Church, President of Metropolitan Christian University, and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of the River Valley. Married to Lady Tia Chase, he continues to inspire through his expansive ministry.
Currently, Archbishop Chase serves as the Presiding Prelate of the African Episcopal Church, President of Metropolitan Christian University, and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of the River Valley. He holds education credentials from World Bible College, Southern Indiana Bible College and Seminary, and the University of Jerusalem. His ministry is deeply influenced by figures like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Marcus Garvey, and Nelson Mandela.
In June 1999, Chase was consecrated as a bishop, and in February 2005, he was elevated to Archbishop and Patriarch. He is dedicated to uniting ministers from various denominational backgrounds under the banner of Jesus Christ, emphasizing unity and sacramental theology.
Throughout his career, Archbishop Chase has planted numerous churches and ministries. He is married to Lady Tia Chase, an anointed and gifted woman of God who walks alongside him in fulfilling their divine purpose for this generation.
